Five stocks from BSEs A group surged 5.04% to 6.2%
 

DLF surged 6.62% to Rs 646.90 and it was biggest gainer in BSE's A group shares.

Max India soared 6.44% to Rs 154.50 and it was second biggest gainer in A group shares.

Educomp Solutions advanced 6.25% to Rs 3,440 and it was third biggest gainer in A group shares.

Jaiprakash Associates surged 5.25% to Rs 230.60 and it was the fourth biggest gainer in A group. The stock surged today following its entry in BSE Sensex. It has replaced Bajaj Auto in Sensex.

Power Grid Corporation of India jumped 5.04% to Rs 93.85 and it was fifth biggest gainer in A group. The stock surged today following its entry in the S&P CNX Nifty. It has replaced Bajaj Auto in Nifty.

The BSE Sensex was up 202.69 points or 1.32% to 15,560.04
